Our volunteer Kittens went to the village of Zagaltsi, Borodyansky district today. A set of volunteer "standard" - three white minibuses and one half-minibus, filled to the brim.
We came to this village for the second time (the first time was on April 13). They already knew the families, and were guided by their requests. The emphasis this time was on tableware (from pots to cups), bed linen, blankets, pillows, window film. We didn't have a lot of grocery sets, only 80 pieces, 200 loaves of bread, 55 belts, various chemicals and hygiene products (diapers, pads, napkins), baby food, antipyretic medicines. The seeds for the garden were also delivered. People will have beets, zucchini, tomatoes, cucumbers, radishes, and beets. There was no pepper in the store then, so they left with no pepper for now.
Requests for bread, groceries, medicine, and animal feed remain unchanged. All this flew like pies in the frost.
We started the distribution with a family in which there are shell holes in the yard and garden, one house was burned to the ground, the other was destroyed. The car, shed - cut by shrapnel.
A sensitive and frank couple who are waiting for the arrival of their children. But the children still have nowhere to go... They allowed me to cut flowers at home.
Then there was a family living in a destroyed house. Ruined summer kitchen. A dilapidated two-story building near the house, a garage, a barn. Two cars were burned - a Niva and a Gazelle. But people continue to live, clean up garbage little by little.
By the way, the village began to restore electricity - new poles are being installed, wires are being replaced. And they clean up, clear the yard and streets of debris.
Stop again. Once again, people come, they are happy with bread, grocery sets, blankets and blankets. They ask for their neighbors who are not there. We do not refuse. They suggest where there are elderly people who cannot reach the center to receive humanitarian aid. We write the addresses, we plan to stop by.
Next comes the family of Ms. Iryna, who gave us a jar of milk last time. She has cows and calves. All survived. We wanted to buy milk then, but the hostess gave it as a gift on the condition that we return the can)
They brought her two cans. Let's say right away that now we have to bring her four cans))) A can in each car of a volunteer.
By the time we reached the end of the village, we distributed everything. But the demand remained for bed linen (why? Because they say that the orcs shot the bed), blankets, blankets, pillows, utensils (pots, pans).
We asked the villagers what to bring next time. They answered, bring what will happen. They wanted to take their phone number, they said that the orcs had taken the mobile phones. They communicate with their relatives, as someone passes by them and lets them make a call.
People were happy to see us and talk to us. Pillows and blankets were happy like children. It was hard for the villagers, they cried, laughed, and joked, and asked everyone to tell everyone: "Thank you for not forgetting and helping."
